The Start
In the summer of 2009, Brick & Mortar Home opened its doors in the heart of Lake Geneva. Nestled in a beautifully restored 1900s brick home, we set out on a journey to bring exceptional interior design and unique home furnishings to our community, combining timeless charm with modern elegance.
2013
Expansion
As our business and community presence grew, we expanded in the Spring of 2013 with the opening of Brick & Mortar Home and Outdoor. This new location offered a modern take on home design, blending indoor comfort with outdoor living solutions, and further establishing us as a destination for all things home.
2021
Renovation
In 2021, we undertook a significant renovation to enhance and modernize our original location, that is now known as The House. This renovation allowed us to reimagine the space, adding new features that reflect our evolving vision, all while preserving the historic charm of our 1900s brick home that defines Brick & Mortar.
2023
The Lofts
In 2023, we launched “The Lofts of Brick and Mortar,” three beautifully designed Airbnb lofts located in the heart of Lake Geneva. These stylish and comfortable spaces offer guests a unique opportunity to experience the downtown charm of Lake Geneva while enjoying the signature design aesthetic that we are known for.
2024
The Porch
In 2024, we proudly opened “The Porch,” an inviting coffee shop that also serves light bites, wine, and beer. This new addition, which was thoughtfully built out during our 2021 renovation, offers a welcoming space for our community to gather and relax while enjoying the familiar ambiance that is Brick and Mortar.
